2. Sorting sale
The annual 2nd sorting sale will once again take place during Ascension Day, when the potters will once again take the boxes out of storage and set up the ceramics in the workshop.
Usually starting on Thursday. There are usually a lot of people on the first day, when the selection will naturally be the largest.
The rest of the selection will be on display at the workshop over the weekend, where you are also welcome - all 4 days from 10-17
There will be a second selection from this year's production - utilitarian ceramics as well as unique pieces at great prices.

2nd grade ceramics are not exchangeable.
Please bring a basket/bag to keep your items in to save on packaging. If you have the opportunity, you can also bring small tea towels or similar to wrap around to save on packaging.
The pottery
Potteriet is a pottery workshop with a shop in Stoense on Nordlangeland. The potters Esben Langkilde and Jannie Nielsen work in stoneware and porcelain and make both functional and unique ceramics. All ceramics are hand-turned in the workshop and the starting point is a strong craft tradition with a contemporary and functional design.
Unique and utilitarian ceramics
Jannie and Esben turn cups, bowls and other utilitarian objects as well as unique pieces in the form of vases, jars, bowls and the like.

Keramische Werkstatt und Laden
Potteriet ist eine Töpferwerkstatt mit Laden in Stoense auf Nordlangeland. Das Töpferpaar Esben Langkilde und Jannie Nielsen arbeiten mit Steinzeug und Porzellan und stellen sowohl Gebrauchskunst als Unika-Modelle her. Alles wird in der eigenen Werkstatt von Hand gedreht. Eine alte, starke Handwerkstradition wir hier mit funktionellen Design kombiniert.
Steinzeug und Porzellan
In der Werkstatt wird feines Porzellan erstellt und mit Glasuren in zarten Nuancen wie grün, blau und creme versehen. Man findet Steinzeug in klassischen Formen mit kräftigen Dekorationen in dunklen Tönen, teilweise mit einem Gold oder Kupferfarbton.
Kontraste
Hier bedeuten Kontraste viel. In der Formgebung, in der Farbe oder während der Behandlung vom weichem Ton zum hartbegrannten, fertigen Produkt.
Biografie
Jannie Nielsen war in der Meisterlehre bei Bottani-Dechaud in Frankreich. Esben Langkilde war in der Meisterlehre bei Kähler in Dänemark.
Beide haben im Laufe ihrer Ausbildungen auch bei Marie Würtz in Juelsminde gerlernt.
